You guys sold any .22 lately? Going rate?
On gunbroker I sell them at $142.50 for 1050 federal 22lr and it moves quickly.
I've seen a brick of remington golden bullet go for $125...

Well I better not post this on FB for $50 then.
Any tips on GB I need to know about?

The search engine is kinda squirrely on gunbroker. So make sure to list 22lr as 22lr 22 22LR or some combination. You can look up others to get an idea. So what I do is list it fixed price for a little below what everyone else is getting. I charge $17.50 fixed shipping and $142.50 for 2 bricks of federal. I've gotten as high as $150 but I typically list on Friday and try to get it sold before sunday. That way I have a little time to package and ship out everything all at once.
It also depends on the brand.. Remington golden bullets will typically bring less and minimags will bring more. Again look up past auctions to get a idea.
Shipping ammunition is a bit of a PITA. You should use UPS and will need to drop it off to a UPS employee. The UPS store doesn't count. Also need a ORM-D sticker which can be downloaded off the internet. I normally hand it to my UPS driver or on the rare occasion I'll drive it to the UPS by the airport.

So I cant bring it to the UPS store to have it shipped?

Nope, has to be a UPS customer service center. There is one in covington, not sure about Hammond/Ponchy

Edit
So PSU, I have 12 bricks to sell, make six listings of two each? Would that be the best way to go?

There is a option in the fixed price that allows you to restart the listing automatically depending on your inventory. So for 6 auctions I think you would list 5 restarts ( initial auction + 5 additional). You could probably get more than the $142.50 I've been getting but I typically only want to make one trip to UPS a week, so I keep my prices low to ensure they are all sold by Monday morning.
I've auction prices vary too much for me. I've sold two bricks as low as $80 via auction . The most I got was $475 for 2500 rounds of Remington hyper bees (not sure of name.
But to answer your initial question I would go 6 auctions. I find that 1050 rounds reaches a wide audience and lessens the shipping charge. There isn't much of a difference between shipping one and two bricks.
