that with a little intelectual piracy in between and you can make it through your life cycle, whatever that may be.

Then disappear on the ocean for months at a time.

Find a better boat, take it. Take them as crew if they'd prefer the alternative. Develop your tribe.

I always though living on a big boat on the Mississippi, ouachita, or red rivers would be good for short term and eventually moving to an oil platform or small island for a longer term.

Survival is not only surviving the first 48 hrs but being able to find food, shelter, and supplies after the first 48.

I honestly wouldn't mind this situation about the only thing I would miss would be hot water anytime I wanted it and talking to my friends.

Some of them would reunite with me and our small group would survive but others are to dependent on technology and would die.

I even have an old truck that would still run assuming an EM pulse wave weapon were utilized. I'm not as prepared as some but I am in no way going into a SHTF situation blind.

This is true.

I ain't scared to make hard decisions. In fact they would likely be pretty easy decisions.

Turning away people in need, especially children, would be pretty damn tough, that's why part of my plan is to not be easily accessible or visible.

Faxis, I would not necessarily want to join your crew...but wouldn't mind sailing in a small Navy with you.

Meanwhile in the real world: I have my eyes on an IP 38 and may need some crew to bring it back to Houston in about 2 months....

I have a hot glue gun and an inflated sense of self worth to contribute.

I doubt long term survival is in the cards being in central FL.
