I'm mad actually. There wasn't much in he first episode that was real. The old show never had this camping tradition. Also, no way they leave these guys sleeping on opening day

I've watched their hunting videos for years. I feel like those are pretty real since it'c pretty much all hunting and no riff raff. All their personalities are pretty much exactly the same on this show as they were in their hunting videos. Except for Willie, they try to make him look clueless but he's just as good of a hunter as the rest of them and he's by far the best deer hunter.
No doubt some stuff is scripted, but I still find it hilarious so I don't care.

Just entertainment. My kids watch the dumbass Disney and nickelodeons shows. They like duck dynasty so staged fake or whatever. It's good entertainment.
Plus they do promote good family values. Not many shows doing that nowadays.
