NRA files for bankruptcy

Not a WSJ article

The gun-rights group, which has been a New York-registered nonprofit since 1871, said it was taking the measures “to exit what it believes is a corrupt political and regulatory environment in New York.”

So basically, they are just wanting to relocate? It was always insane to me that the NRA would be registered in NY.

How come it's always some affirmative action AG that seeks to undo what's right?

I'm assuming they had to declare bankruptcy so they could move and avoid any kind of bullshite the AG wants to do to them.

Good for them. Their donations are about to be off the charts.

New suits, hotel suites and $2,000 steak and wine dinners for everyone! frick the NRA as long as that thief LaPierre is left in charge. Dude straight up stole donations for personal use and isn’t even apologetic about it.

So what has Wayne LaPierre done in the past four to eight years for gun rights? Gimme, gimme, gimme money. Any gun owner now is staring down the barrel of gun control, registration and possible confiscation. What a puffed up, opulent and wealthy job for life charade of a man.
