I’m not trolling anyone. Where I hunt in Texas I could shoot one any time I want. When the water holes have water they are always there and will stand their and Look at you. Like fish in a barrel. But they aren’t pressured by regular hunting. Now killing them might be the challenge. Hunting no, not from my experience. But I don’t “safari” hunt from an UTV. To each his own but not my thing.

The times I’ve heard my landowner lets outfitters hunt the Nilgai, he charges them 5k or more just for the animal. Not sure what the outfitter adds to that.. So did you mean 5k or $50.

To those who love the meat, what is the going rate to hunt them. Really hunt them?
