Yea I know there are cheaper options out there but I really just cant stand the way a AR (or any gun) looks with a glock mag in it except a glock...at least so far.

I love my CMR30! I have run it with my sparrow supressor...tames the crack of that 22mag.

So you have the APC 45 or the GHM45?

s the APC9 the one that you can SBR and use the factory folding stock if you want

Yes...that is the one that has the factory folding stock that your probably thinking of. It seems they have some for the GHM but its a skinny stick type.

The APC has more stock options. Cooper customs has an adapter if you want to put a buffer tube on it. I saw a vid of a ACR stock...don't know who made it but it looked pretty slick.

This is the new APC pro they just released this year...if I got a APC id go this route becasue they don't have the reciprocating charging handle anymore. Also take standard AR pistol grips. But it has to be a SBR from the get go....buuuuuut form 1s seem to be take a cpl weeks currently...not months.

Must...focus...on 45 host

I think the tall form factor of that ACR stock goes well with the tall looking APC9. I think its the bushmaster stock with an adapter.

LINK FOR THAT ADAPTER

Says there are 2 kinds but can fit that stock on any of the APCs 9,45,223,300,308 if anyone reading this wants one.

I just came home from the range. Unfortunately I did not have my Allen wrench and screwdriver with me to do a proper zero so I focused on running a few different brands and weights to see if any wouldn't work.

I ran some UMC, Browning, Magtech, Sig and American eagle. Grains were 115, 124 and 147. I used both full metal and hollow points. Gun ran like a sewing machine. There is a little take up in the trigger but still smooth. No trigger slap. Next time when I can do a proper zero, I'll try a few more brands. I need some Federal and may even try some Winchester white box and monarch to see if there is any it won't function with.

One thing I did do beforehand and some may find it crazy but I'm a believer that before using any magazine I like to load and unload it a few times before using them. Seems to alleviate first time mag issues. I have 2 ordered on the way so hope they come in soon because reloading one mag sucks.

It's really a fun gun to shoot. I had my 78 year old dad shoot it and my VP9. He definitely enjoyed the APC9 more. It does need a red dot and I'm leaning towards aim point TL1. Not sure though but I'm open to suggestions.

I have the B&T APC45 w/an SB brace and a red dot on top. I like it a lot. It's compact but hefty it weighs as much as my 16" Daniel Defense AR15.

I wouldn't think the cost is something you are concerned with based on the 9's you mentioned and I totally get what you are saying about the look of those glock mags. Providing you go the B&T route I don't think you will be disappointed.

A lot of people however probably think "f-that" B&T and it's lofty $$$. I get that too. I want people to enjoy their right and if they want a 45 w/an SB brace they can get one at a fraction of the price in an AR platform. The B&T is sweet but it isn't the end all be all.

When breaking in my APC 45 the white box had me thinking I made a terrible decision. I purchased some Federal brass and it changed my mind. The white box may run in the 9mm but didn't work worth a dang in the 45 my .02

Where did you get your mags/cost vs. other suppliers?
Providing I didn't mention it in my other post congrats on the sweet 9.

So they make a ACP45 Pro as well and I saw some that were "pistols" with a brace or nothing at all. I do like the non recip charging handle idea....

I picked up mags from Tarheel State Firearms. They carry full line of B&T products and accessories.

There is also a Facebook group that B&T hosts. Pretty good stuff and it's not required to be an owner so anyone can join.

Brugger & Thomet firearms owners

Lot of good info being shared.

Congrats on the purchase! Be sure to give a update and review on it. IIRC you have a good bit of sub guns so if ya can, give a comparison between them. I've been eyeing a mp5k clone for long time but may just continue with B&T.
Good luck on surgery!

So I backed out of the ghm and went with a APC45 Pro. Had to wait for it to come in and finally got to pick it up. Now I just need my omega 45k for it.

Tarheel state firearms has the mags and so does G&R tactical.

Let us all know about your shooting impressions. Speaking of which I still haven't gotten back to the range to get my nano zeroes. Maybe when I get off after these nights.

THS is where it came from. I picked up 4 extra mags for 5 total. I’ll grab a few more down the line and update once I shoot it.

Didn't the military buy a bunch of these recently. Saw it was the first military SMG purchase in decades.

They picked up the APC9k Pro. The "k" is same except it has a shorter barrel by like an inch. The "Pro" like what NOLOAGT has differed from min in a few ways. First they have a non reciprocating bolt and use the folding charging handle, different sights, pistol grip is removable and the bolt is cut to allow a different lower that accepts Glock magazines. There is also a lower in the works for accepting sig magazines.

Give ya idea how shorter barrel is, see those 4 cent slots? On the "K" they only have 2. I seem to be having issue posting pics right now bit if I can later, I'll post a pick of the AP9K PRO.

Yes they did and I like it...I just don’t really need another 9mm sub gun. 2 zeniths and 2 scorpions got me covered I think. I needed something in a 45 flavor. Now maybe if they do a 45k

B&T seems pretty quick to turn out product so I wouldn't be surprised if they go that route. Speaking of routes, I see the bolt hold catch on the PRO operate like the ones on the APC223/556 with the up down feature on bolt hold.

I'd love to get an APC223.

I'm on the jelly side here. Work been keeping me away from the range. Not happy about that. If you a get a chance, let us know how the recoil varied between the different grains. Maybe its just me but on my APC9, it felt like the heavier grains had a slightly reduced recoil like the heavier grains cause the hydraulic buffer to absorb the recoil more after a certain level.
