I’m curious as to what the cable foot control offers that the electronic doesn’t. I came from a lesser minn kota and the only difference is that the garmin is easier to manipulate.

Extremely precise and small movements of the transducer that become learned by the brain.

What makes it better than a Rhodan ? What’s the warranty?

I get it that you are used to the control of a cable steer, but the same thing can be learned on an electronic pedal. That is just what you are used to.

My livescope is mounted on a turret anyway so that isn’t an issue for me.

Have tried it. Did not like it one bit. The movements are not precise nor predictable.

Competition is good for the end user, I'm sure with Power Pole entering the game others knew they'd have to step their game up. I know several that have switched to the Power Pole TM and they all say they have never seen anything close to it, it is absolutely silent when running no matter the speed, game changer in sight fishing for pressured Redfish. Haven't heard of any issues with them yet which is pretty impressive when you consider it is a brand new product, now they just need to make a auto deploy with a trim feature for tower boats.

Johnson Outdoors hasn’t been able to stock distributors on popular motors in years.

They have a real issue with computer chip sourcing.

This new motor is cool, but I’m skeptical anyone will be able to get their hands on one.
