New date for bow in area 4

Has anyone seen an explanation or the states reason to start Bow season this year on Oct 21 instead of the usual start date?

Dayum bruh you made my heart sink like I saw a cop in my rear view mirror.
I see that It says 21st if you google ldwf hunting regs. If you open the interactive pamphlet it says Oct 1.
I’m going with the pamphlet date!!
FYI if the pamphlet is wrong or a typo you can get a ticket

It maybe a misprint rattlebucket. That’s the states main site. And it is the only one that says that date also so……

Oct 1st I will be sitting in a tree with my bow and a laminated copy of the pamphlet showing that it opens Oct 1st.
