I bought a Burris RT6 for my .35. It’s an impressive little scope. Adjustable illuminated reticle is the tits.

I would say vortex, I absolutely love my Vcog but I did not think it through. It’s essentially a acog that goes from 1-6x it’s clear and I love it. But when I’m trying to get precise shots it just come up short. The main reticle is to thick inside 100yards and is great for its intended use. Quickly getting rounds on target, but not precise at all.
U have to pick a specific caliber and grain & then your stuck.
If I could do it again I would go Leopold lite 1-6, or a vortex 1-6

As far as rifle optics, buy once cry once. I tried to go on the cheap and was never satisfied. Go ahead and make the investment in quality glass. Even if you have to save up for it.
A quality 1-4, 1-5, 1-6 will outperform a budget 1-8 on clarity alone.
