I can always count on the OB to make me feel welcome..
Gators will be out of season in April. Turkey season will be drawing to a close. The South Zone closes April 7th and the Central Zone on April 21st.
Hunting Osceolas is expensive if you go through an outfitter. At this time you probably don't have much choice if turkey is your quarry. Google Jeff Budz or www.outdooradventuresllc.com for a few good ones. Be prepared to drop $1,500-2,200 for a 3 day single bird hunt.
Hog hunts are inexpensive and plentiful around that area. Going rate is about $250-300 a day.
If all this sounds too steep consider booking a fishing trip. April is a good month in that area.
Good luck...

Thx. Does it make a difference on the gators if they are on private land? It will be toward the end of April. Are you familiar with the outfitter Jab posted a link for? I'd also be willing to take that Browning SxS off your hands while I'm there....

There is a program in FL that allows alligator harvests on private land. I'm not very familiar with outfitters for such a thing. Maybe a google search could help. Be prepared to pay $1,000-2,000 for a gaor hunt as FL is awful proud of their lizards.

I've always wanted a pair of boots that were a "trophy" of mine.

If you wanna do gators remind me in May when the tag lottery occurs. The odds are pretty solid that I will have my own tags and access to some others. We can even have you apply for tags of your own. The hunts are held in the late Summer and getting 8-10 footers isn't too hard. Getting those 10+ footers is getting tougher and tougher.
