My first ever deer taken Saturday morning.

8 point 210 pounds from 120 yards out. Tangipahoa Parish.

You can say I have "the bug" now.

Thanks for the help in attaching an image.

My first deer (or my best deer) was not nearly that big.

Congrats on the kill.

You're supposed to start with a doe or a spike or something

Congrats man. That's a fine buck.

Thanks y'all. I didn't realize how nice of a deer it was until I brought it around a bunch of country boys. They had to help me clean/cape it. I gave them two cases of beer though.

It's a good looking deer and being that it's your first one.

I bet they enjoyed helping and hated you at the same time.

You need to teach a class on what to do when people help you clean your deer

I'll go out on a limb and say I'll never shoot a buck in my life.

We grilled some of the back strap after the Saints loss. It would've tasted that much better.

Just not my thing, and I have nowhere but Koscisuko, MS to shoot one.
