Im in the market for a new mud boat. I'm looking for a 17'-18' center console with a 35 GTR. The boat does not need to be "Gator Tail" brand. I'm wondering if anybody can recommend a good dealer or someone you had a good experience with. Also, If anyone has a 35 GTR, let me know what you think about it. Pros? Cons? Thanks in advance.

Buy it straight from the company. Go in and talk to them and you can prob get a boat set to your specs.

I've got an Excel with a Mud Buddy on the back... I love it.Rolls off of stumps and across mud flats with ease.

I have a custom built 18x48 with a 35 GTR. Love it. Run about 28-29 with fuel, and typical boating equipment.

This is who built my boat. If you call him, tell him Ryan sent you to him. He just built himself a nice 1854 center console with a PD. His point is on the front page of [link=(www.mudmotortalk.com)]LINK[/link]

Go test drive them all. Go devil, pro drive, mud buddy, and GTR. I have had a Gator Trax 3 man hide and was very pleased with it and Kent and the crew over there can give you some great advice. I courently have a stage 3 GTR on a 18 x 46 hull. It hawls azz. Considered going with the center console but it cuts down on your monouverability. Although it's great for long rides. Hoit and the boys at GTR are great also and will do everything to put you in the boat you want. Also go check out mud motor talk. Great source of info.
