You can cast a spoon a lot further which is why i would choose it. Ounce for Ounce it is just more aerodynamic than any bait i can think of.
Well, let me put my fluke on a weighted swimbait hook.

Fluke is almost as silly as buzzbait. I did catch a white perch on one this year, but it was a fluke.

Kinda tough for me to see something that imitates baitfish (a food source) is silly.

artificial I would have to say a spoon because it works in both salt and fresh about the same and catches just about everything

I agree. In theory it sounds good but I catch many more fish on a Texas rig than anything else.

Well I guess I would starve to death on an Island if all I had was a buzzbait.

you could take the buzzer off and fish it like a jig

I thought we were discussing versatility.

Can you not rig a fluke with a jig head / weightless / alabama rig???

" TEXAS RIG " is not a bait ??

I am missing something here.

i chose fluke because of its vesatility in rigging. Salt / brackish / freshwater applications are endless.

doesn't matter. If you were stranded in one area... Could be fresh.. Could be salt. You don't know....
