Does anyone know of a Model 70 clone? I'm wanting to build a SA rifle and wanted something different this time.

The only one I saw was from Montana Rifle and it was a LA, yes SA is Short Action.

I'm not aware of any. Zastava may make one??? Montana is out of business.

Lots of long action options out there. You could get a mausenfeld for an extremely nice custom rig if that's what you're looking to do.

Or, get a winchester.

Eta: I just looked, zastava is still in the market. They make a mini mauser for .223 sized stuff or a real M98 clone with some model 70 features. Fair prices, iron sights, good caliber offerings. A zastava is what you seek.
