Our boat broke loose from mooring during a bad storm this afternoon from the jack up barge at chandelier. Wind seems to be blowing it towards Biloxi marsh (ESE wind) It’s an 01 24’ pathfinder. If anyone sees it, please let me know a location. Thanks in advance.

Update: found it 10.5 miles due west of the barge. She had quite a bit of water in it but still afloat. Bildged her out and she cranked right up. Hopefully the specks be biting today. Thanks to all who looked.

Damn, I was expecting someone stole a chandelier from your boat and was making a fast getaway to Biloxi Ms. I had this story all screwed up.

We will be out there in the morning. You got anchor in it if we see it?

That storm was crazy with how much wind it produced. Lots of people got rocked this afternoon. Did y’all make it to safety?

Everybody ok. We were at the jack up barge. Storm came in and it got nasty. Boat ride most of it but broke loose sometime a lil after dark. We caught one glimpse of it about a mile away when the lightning struck. Storm was til way to bad to try to go after it in the dark. Winds have been out the east since so it should have it pushed somewhere between Freemason and Biloxi marsh Headed out now to have a look

It has anchor and power pole. Perks switch is in back right compartment It’s off so it will have to be turned on for power pole to go down

Nice.

Glad you found it. Watching that boat float away must have really sucked.

Yea it sucked when I came back out to check and it was gone. Saw it once when lightning hit and it was already close to a mile out. It broke a 3/4” thick braided mooring rope that was attached to the big anchors they have set. Weather was so bad, that we couldn’t go after it. No boat is worth getting someone killed over. Just glad we were able to recover it. We went almost straight to it after figuring which way wind should have blown it.

We haven't caught but 3 keeper trout. Water is pretty. Bait everywhere. No fish. We have fished all plastic, but haven’t seen any other boy catch more than 3 fish in a sitting. I’m baffled, and I don’t know this area good enough to know any “secret spots”. But we found the boat and the beer is cold, and I am not at work so life is good.
