What are y'all mixing for mineral sites for deer? Some combination of dical and salts?

Dical, trace minerals, stock salt, & dry molasses is what I use with success.

Deer minerals need to be put out way earlier (late spring) for this if you want them to have any benefit for antler development

1 bag fine stock salt
1 bag trace mineral salt
1 bag dicalcium phosphate

They seem to like the 2:1 salt-dical ratio because the salt is what they’re attracted to. They will bust up the ground to get to it when it’s dry.

I add some sodium bicarbonate to mine as it reportedly aids in digestion

Get it started with a block for cattle. Add Lucky Buck all along.
Illegal in CWD zone.

I used to have a hook up for free "blemished" red mineral blocks. I probably put out over 5000# in 2 spots over a 5 year span. These pics are from a few years back, but the deer keep coming back every year and eat the salty dirt. I do freshen them up in the spring each year with a block or two and a few bags of regular salt.
