Unfortunately I don't think this will ever get resolved locally. I HATE federal telling states what to do, but I don't see ANY downside to a federal ban on purse seines.

WLF has been told to stand down. The Little General ran as a sportsman, but like the rest of them, its all about how much money he gets from involved parties, and Omega and Daybrook got lots of money, and if Louisiana followed every other coastal state, they would be out of business. Fat Billy has always been for sale.

A fish kill due to water conditions would contain many other species of fish.

Pogie boats fish this area almost daily. You can track the boats online.

I totally agree with your analogy. But where is the proof that the pogey boats were responsible for killing the fish in those beach photos.

That was/is CCA's biggest downfall. It presented false reports, Photoshop pictures, expert opinions by folks who were not experts, and graphs drawn by a 2nd grader during numerous legislative processes/. Ther credibility is shot, and rightfully so.

Damn, it did not take Motorboat to lie again.

CCA, Capitol Clown Association moniker came from a hearing in Washington D.C., when the organization was asked for facts to support their claims. What they produced was an expert report from someone who was not an expert, and numerous pictures that it could not authenticate. Congressional Records Office is a powerful tool. The moniker stuck in Baton Rouge, under very similar circumstances.

So you are just assuming the pictures are photoshopped or do you know for sure? Just about all of the photos CCA uses come for the public. I doubt they have a photographer on staff that just so happens to be in the area when a fish kill happens. That’s why it’s up to the public and other fisherman to help with this cause. Not that difficult to understand.

He knows for sure yet cannot ever provide evidence when asked. Look at his post history. If he had shown proof, I wouldn’t be posting on TD.

Very difficult for him to understand. He is saying CCA provided inadequate proof but he’s doing the same thing. It’s quite funny at this point.
