Maui Jim question about green lenses

Green costa lenses are specifically designed for inshore. Is this the same with MJs/all sunglasses? Wasn’t sure if it had anything to do with the actual color of the lens or technology that costa just put into their green lenses. I’m done with costas after all
my rubber has deteriorated and they refused my warranty claim. Just tried on the MJ Peiha and they are unbelievably comfortable. I also like how the nose piece just has a little rubber insert unlike the entire bridge being rubber like my fantails.

Not sure about Maui Jim, but Costa’s Green Mirror are actually Amber or Brown with the Green coating.

This, you want (or at least I do) amber for inshore. The green mirror doesn't actually do as much as you'd think, so just go with whatever amber lens MJ offers.

They are similar but neither are “designed” for inshore but work well for the application. Inshore also depends on water clarity. Most inshore means a heavily stained water color. In these cases an Amber/copper lens works best. As far as a mirror green is what most companies put on the lenses because cosmetically and functionally they tend to work well not because they are best for one application of use or the other. Many studies suggest a silver mirror and copper/Amber lens are best for the application but aren’t as cosmetically appealing so many don’t go that route. If you have more questions swing by the office I have a lot of that stuff there. Signed your eye doctor :)
