Marsh Anchor vs Power Pole Spike - anyone have opinions?

I need to grab an anchor for shallow water.
I like the T handle on the spike, but not sure if anyone has any real world comparisons here. Had the marsh anchor on my last boat, worked great even if it took a throw or two to get set up right.

How big of a boat and how deep of water?
I can throw my 6' marsh anchor and still work in 10-12' deep water.
I don't think you'll be able to throw the power pole spike to anchor in water deeper than the spike's length. Not enough weight.
And the marsh anchor will hold a bigger boat better if you're in any current. I'd probably only opt for the power pole spike if you're in a small skiff or jonboat and are only planning to use it in water shallow enough that you can push the spike into the mud.

just make one...
8' copper ground rod from home depot = under $20
make sure you leave the pointed end in tack
anchor shackle = under $5
cut rod down to 6', or so, then take the cut off end, lay it on an anvil or something hard and flatten out the cut off end so you can drill a hole in it for the shackle
braded rope length of your choice...
this works awesome on my 18' aluminum boat and holds VERY well..
I've anchored this in 20' of water with a hard tide running and it held no problem...

Stick it pins and Max Gain Systems are good options too but not metal like the marsh anchor

I bought two lightning rods cut them to I think like 4-5’ maybe a little longer. Drilled a whole on non pointed side. Threaded a stainless steel 1” clevis on the end. And tied 550 cord on the ends. And it’s so heavy and 550 so streamlined it was very simple to spear both side of my boat in the marsh from cc and no noticeable shifting.
Deeper water as long as wind was not absolutely cooking and it was marsh on bottom not sandy or rocky i would spear off the front and back of the boat and ot would keep with minimal shifting in 10’+
