Man claimed to have caught 83 pound catfish on rod & reel.

Seems like Facebook post did him in.

Too easy to spotlight a large fish and shoot it. Much more difficult to entice it when you don't know its exact location.

It is here too. Although you can shoot catfish 10 months or so out of the year in season. No other type of gamefish.
