re: Louisiana Swamp: some of the hardest deer hunting terrain?

Spent a lot of my younger years hunting in Maurepas since my parents live close. The guys who have it figured out (not me) and are willing to put in significant time/effort usually bag a nice buck or two every year. I’ve killed my fair share of deer out there but only one mature buck over the years. We still make a hunt or two every year just because it’s local to my dad’s house.
