Healthy population of meth heads in MS.
Should be very popular.

Also they seem to be late this year getting the season dates posted. Maybe because changes are being debated

I won't mind. Had shoulder reconstruction with pins inserted in high school(football). Haven't been able to draw a bow more than1-2 times for a few years now.

I don't see why not...crossbows are lot less primitive then the 45-70 single shot rifles that are currently considered primitive..

you read it completely wrong
starting NOW we can use crossbow during archery AND primitive weapon season. no dr note, age doesnt matter, anyone can use a crossbow during any season

well no need to worry about that either because starting next year here in ms it is weapon of choice during primitive weapon, so throw that 45-70 in the back of the safe and grab the high powered rifle boys

So why even try to keep the primitive weapon title...just make it a general season and be done with it.

So has the cross bow been legal all along? Also, Does the "weapon of choice" take affect this season?

I agree. If the primitive season goes away, they will make up that 75.00 somewhere. NR All Game will probably go up to 375.00

For a period of time, only handicapped or the disabled (I think 30% disabled was the lowest limit) were allowed to use a crossbow in MS.
Now it's on for primitive season... you'll be reading a ton of articles about ding-dongs shooting their thumbs off next year.
