I like rage but I have a problem with the little black rings which hold your blades, this past Sunday I had three arrows and two malfunctioned in the quiver.

One was as I was walking to my stand in the dark, hung a vine or something.

They are real pricy to be so fragil

G5 Montec or Magnus Snuffer as Barneyrb stated. These will be tuned straight out the box. I do not use the mechanical due to it is something else that can go wrong at the right time. The old satellite titan was the best ever due to cutting edge but hardest to tune.

I use 125 ramcat's for deer and this year I'm trying 125 kudu's for hogs. But I will say the ramcat's fly the best I've seen just my 2 cents.

My buddy swears by RamCat's. I do like how they cut on both sides of the blade. Last year I shot a deer and the arrow didnt pass through. Found the deer but it was hard with minimal blood. A RamCat would have cut on the way in and on the way out and I would have found the deer easier.

Fixed Blade - SLICK TRICK MAGNUM 100gr 1-1/8" Cutting Diameter

If I were ever to switch to a mechanical I think I would give the Grim Reapers a try. They seem to get excellent reviews.

I shoot the 100 gr. Grizz Tricks which are in the Slick Trick family and I have been more than pleased with them. I have always had a great blood trail.

Grim Reapers. Feel more solid than Rage and leave a hell of a blood trail. Not a fan of the O ring system on Rages.

"China-dermics " off eBay can be had for about $1.00 per head or less. I've killed two so far with them. Just throw them away after the shot.
