Back in the 1970's, we had a least in Hopedale. Back then there were tons of pintails. Now,WTF?

I'm still looking for a new least within 75 miles of Baton Rouge. Anyone know of anything?

They shoot pinails out of hopedale still and they shoot them south of delacroix island, but for whatever reason our area won't hold them.

I'd be interested in just finding some duck leases this season. Mine got washed away when they flooded the spillway.

Tons of Pintails in the Pine Island area just West of Pecan Island. I saw at least 5,000 of them on the ground in a single field a few years ago. I stopped my truck and just listened to them for about 10 mins, never had I seen that in my life... crazy.
