I have 120 acres in reggio plus acces to another 150 or so. I am looking for 1 blind on a rice field in exchange with access to all my blinds on my property.

I would be interested in trading one rice field hunt for a marsh hunt but can't do the whole season.

Eta: I could even put you in a deer stand in the afternoon if you want

What makes you want to swap 300 acres for one rice field blind 40 acres or less? I'm jus curious but also raises a red flag if I was interested. In the first place I have no clue where that property is or anything about the hunting.

I will stil be using my property in the marsh the majority of the time. Like i said it would just be access to my blinds. I like to switch it up and hunt different properties throughout the season. My property is legit. Me and one other guy shot 120 between us two last season. The only problem is we dont kill many pintails and mallards so it would be nice to have the mixture this season.

I have pictures and video from last season and i will bring anyone interested out to the property to have a look around. You can look through my post history and see pictures from last season as well. The property is 2 miles north of delacroix island. 3 miles east of reggion boat launch.

Well no one kills many pintails cause you can't. Just kiddin witcha and thank you for explanation. I had a good blind in a rice field and we killed many ducks but only few days where the pintails and mallards would really come. Backwater in flooded timber is what you should look for imo if you want Mallards. Find that hole in the woods that no one knows about.

Good-eatin ones like teal. Hell, I'll take a fat spoony over a mallard ANY day. Kill a lot of gray ducks (Gadwalls)

Teal is a good eating duck. We just tend to kill more mallards up here than down south I guess

Your word is good with me, this ain't the OT and there are no knuckleheads on here. To my knowledge the posters here are all sincere, honest men...and a few sheila's now and them. Stacy catches more frogs than fin.

Let me rephrase. In two seasons we have killed 0 pintails and only seen 1.

That's odd, but I don't see what the big deal is about pintails. They are cool mounts, and I really like mine, but I don't base a hunt or season on pintails...

Don't get me wrong, they are cool to kill, but I would much rather kill a bunch of mallards, and that is how people up here base their hunts/years. So I understand from that stand point what the OP is wanting...

Its not the change of birds I am really looking for its the change of scenery. And I like mallards more than pintails, but it's fun to watch pintails work a rice field.

Damn pintails hardly ever work. They just sneak in and if you don't kill them, they are out!
