I have a fifth wheel camper and I will be relocating around the first of the year. What is the best campground to stay at? What are some of the nicer RV parks/resorts to stay at? The more amenities the better. This will be a lengthy stay, probably anywhere from 6 months to a year.

I know Farr park near LSU has some spots. Not sure on what all they have. I just live right there and see RV's parked in there especially for game days.

I guess the location isn’t as big a deal as the amenities that the place can offer. My wife and son will come down for the summer, so the more the place offers, in lieu of activities for him (he’s 6), the better.

Lamar Dixon has an RV park. It would be close to Sorrento and Geismar but a little haul to Port Allen. I don’t know much about the lark except it has a good bit of RVs parked there

Would be a little bit of a drive every day for you but if amenities for the wife and son are what you are after you need to check out reunion lake and Cajun palms.
