This annoyed the hell out of me at Money Hill. All of the old frickers wouldn't read the board, come riding out at 9, and tell me to get out of "their stand". When I'd tell them to look at the board, they'd want to have a 15 minute long conversation about if I was seeing deer or not

In my experience younger hunters are generally more respectful towards other hunters. I've only had trouble with old farts thinking that public land is their personal lease

Little creek?? Is that the club advertising on sportsman where u get a spot to hunt and that is your spot for the year. You can’t hunt anywhere but your little section of land? If so that’s the stupidest shite i ever heard of. You will get the shitiest spot on the 3000 acres being the new guy

Truth.

Me and my BIL went to see a lease the other weekend. They said you can pick a "private" stand from one of their existing club stands. BIL asked why he couldnt just setup his own "private" stand where he wanted, we couldn't get an answer except one of the old timers told us he had several ladders all over the place that werent on the map.
