Got several patches 8’x10’ that needs new sod. I worked up the soil with some post hole diggers. Will the new sod even out elevation wise or should I dig the spots out and make the new sod even with existing grade?

Whatever you do, makr it level. You will be incredibly pissed off six months from now if you don’t. Make it level with the grade and make whatever you tilled up flat and tamp it in or use a compactor.

Yeah keep it level, if it’s elevated when you mow, you’ll scalp it and potentially kill it
