Lawn care advise needed.

My yard is becoming overrun with these Lilly type weeds. Any idea how to get rid of them without killing the grass as well?

Literally every single lawn safe weed killer has a picture of that on the label saying it kills it....and I mean EVERY one!

Not an expert but dollar weeds come up in wet areas. Make sure you grass has proper drainage if possible

That is dollar weed...both atrazine and 2-4D will kill it. now is the time to apply while all of the weeds are still tender and actively growing.

I find 24d works better than Image for these. Don't mix it weak or it won't touch it.

24D will destroy your St Aug if you use it right now. Ive got brown spots all over. It will take care of the dollar weed too! I'll use Atrazine next time.

I have a bermuda lawn...and some dollar weed but mostly spurge and dandelion and that god-forsaken poa. But I used 2-4D on it..and those weeds laughed at that. I gave up on the front yard and turned it over to a lawn chemical company...now trying to recover the back yard....I mixed my 2-4D twice the strength...so hopefully that will do the trick.

How many ounces per gallon do you mix the 24D?

It's only the 4.85% 2-4D...I should have gotten the 7-8% stuff. I forgot they made a stronger version.
So with the 4.85% I mix 6.4oz per gallon instead of the 3.2 recommended. So I double the concentration. So I'm putting 12.8 oz +/- in a 2 gallon sprayer.
Next time I'll go with the 7.XX% concentration.
