I typically hunt woods in the mornings and plots in the evening. With it being late season, bucks should be going to food sources to recharge from the rut.

Curious if anyone changes their strategy during late season from Woods hunting to strictly plot hunting.

I had to work at 1 pm one day. The morning before, I’d seen deer in a plot mid-morning. I slept in and went plot stalking at 9. By ten, I was back at the truck with a doe from the first plot and an 18” 8 point from the second.
According to the IST, many of our posters hunt plots in the mornings.

If I'm hunting meat then food plot, if I'm hunting a buck then I'll hunt wherever he's showing up most of the time. All of it is centered around food sources.
