I've never seen a gun isle remotely close to how bad that thing is. Why the hell would you put 308 next to 44mag?

I made my buddy a believer one day when I told him I could get some woodies to circle like mallards and they did and came straight in. He was shocked

3 and 30 for 2 years would solve all of this...

Bring it on four five yrs. Lease cost would go down the crapper. Sugarasses would stay of the public shooting ground, could actualy go an have a quality hunt with whay LDWF provides )which aint' much in terms of quality). Ill take two mallards and a woodrow every day. Woodcock hunters got 3 and 45 and never hear them complain

I would take 2 and 60.....

the bad thing is the rise of spinners and popularity of videos/shows coincided with this the longest run of 60 day seasons we have ever had....

we need more hunters for hunting to survive.. though..

Hows that? See them at thistlewaite all the time, they seem happy to go shoot there 3 and head to the house. Don't have much competition. Shoot I take my lab couple times a year and shoot a limit of woodcock. Quality hunt with out the hip booters and face painters hiding behind every tree

Tears would fall. Leaves are finally off the trees and its cold so the birds seem to hold tight. Although I have seen a very surprising number of birds in November this year, January is the month in my experience

Exactly Rodney an thats the problem. The bird guys know what they have and thankfull for it. Look how many duck stamps sold in 2005 and how many this year. I saw some article say it was like 50000 in 2005 and now like 100000 this year or last yaer. This state stamp Im talking about. Nobody can fathom the pressure ducks get down here except somebody from South AR. You cut out the sugarasses you get a better hunt, and as choupique said 30 and 3 for a couple yaers wold do the trick

What exactly is a sugarass?

Also, if you think ducks get pressured in la, take a look at deer hunters....that's pressure, Ricardo.

Also, do you have any idea how much bitching would ensue if they went to 3 and 30.

Sugarass is somebody started hunting recently and doesnt' know there arse from a hole in the ground. Facepainter, show up to the hole 30 befor shooting time and doesnt' find some other spot when you flash the Qbeam at him. Hail call all day. If you duck hunt you no the type i speak of.

Bring on the bitching, why should we set rules off other peoples feelings, if populations say we need 3 and 30 than we need 3 and 30. the people that truly enjoy the sport will hang around.

Deer is a totally different ball game Rodney. I spend more time on the public shooting ground than the average Hebert and other than rifle season it aint' tha crowded on average. Easier to manage a deer population than a migratory bird wanting to sit on your face. Deer can't fly

There's more big Whigs than you, that will never allow 3 and 30 to happen.

Also, you seem mad about the "sugarasses"

Little whig here. And the hands that want 6 and 60 cause they want to shoot a ton are part of the problem too.

Question, do yuo duck hunt? and if so, how long have you been duck hunting, where do you hunt, and do yuo step foot on public shooting ground? If you have duck hunted historycle waterfowl areas then you too would not like the sugarass.

Sorry choupique, I no you didnt' start this thread for this converseation but rodney struck a chord
