my brother has a place down there and its great. I don't think you will be disappointed. We shoot quail, doves, ducks, deer, hogs, and yotes down there, but no exotics. His place isn't high fenced. Never heard anyone complain about their experience though.

some are like hunting in petting zoos and some are not so much, but the density of animals is pretty high.

If this is an oilfield related trip bring your tarpon rodeo preparedness kit.

If there are exotics on the place in Laredo, it's gonna be high fenced. And yes, there are big deer down there.

Well his buddy told him to make sure he gets a license to hunt exotics said nothing of low or high fence hunting.

We all assumed based on the description of the type of business his buddy is in and type of ranch it was going to be a HF.

Been a couple times to Hebronville (1 hr from Laredo). Shot the biggest buck in my life there. Huge racks down there.

I would shoot the biggest Whitetail Buck you can. If you have a young guide you can offer a nice cash tip to shoot the best Buck you can. Sometimes these guides are looking for certain class deer and a few greenbacks can bump that up for you. Enjoy I am sitting at my place in Maverick County and the bucks are starting to go nuts chasing.
