re: Lake Decade Area Fishing (Raccourci/Mechant)

It's about 6 miles from grand caillou or grand pass. Enstar platform is a few miles west of coon pt( last island) and is a great place for nice trout. There are days when the seas are glass but I have rarely had the seas get bad while out there. The forecasts are fairly accurate and seas only pick up around thunderstorms. If the weather looks bad you can always head to caiilou boca for protection but there are plenty of cuts along caillou bay to seek protection that are ac15 min run from the island or enstar. Long story short if you get to caillou bay and seas are calm they usually stay that way. Also on w/es the island looks like a boat show so plenty of people to help if you need it
