Anyone do any bass fishing in the lake or tank ponds this summer ? Thinking about making a trip this weekend but haven’t been there yet. How’s the grass looking?

Went last fall in what should have been good conditions and it was a gar hole. Lot of hyacinth in the canals and not much else. It needs a lot to change before I could imagine it being productive, particularly for the river to be high enough and the powers that be to open Davis pond enough to keep it flushed out.

Cataouche is next on the land lost list for next major hurricane. Ida took out clovelly, back of delta farms and the south portions of lake Salvador.
