Lafayette Kayak Fishing Club

We have our first meeting of the year at Pack & Paddle in Lafayette this Tuesday at 6:00. We're desperately looking for new members. If you know someone that may be interested tell them to come to our meeting. We're going over our Tournament schedule, new sponsors and upcoming events. Plus free beer and a drawing at the end of the night.

I have never had a Kayak but the thought of fishing from a Kayak has always interested me. If I was in town I might pop by just to see what you guys are all about. Good luck fellas.

There is no better way to catch a redfish than from a kayak.

Stop in and check it out, we meet every 3rd Tuesday each month, so next one is Feb. 15th. If it's something you're interested in trying out Pack & Paddle offers kayak rentals and it probably wouldn't be hard to find someone to tag along with for a trip to try it out. They also offer guided trips, though I don't know if there's any on the schedule yet, where the supply the kayak and someone from their Hobie staff guides you for the day.
