I watched one of those Bermuda Triangle shows the other night, and all the shipwrecks and plane crashes were swarming with big AJs. They would be down 300 ft and come across the AJs & be like, "We're close to the wreck now. They eat the baitfish around the wreck." Pretty cool low-tech way to find one in really dark, cloudy water.

I've heard brownies work better for that. You'd have to ask Fin though. I just want to catch a fish taht weighs over 100lbs.

If you need a warm body and some cash to go after teal season, I'll be ready.

Ask hat about AJ's. There's no shortage of them in the gulf either. If the current cooperates we can usually get a good one on every drop. We've salvaged a couple busted tuna trips with nice AJ hauls.

Last time out we caught our limit of AJs fishing a reef for grouper/scamp/vermillion. We would hook a 10-14in. vermillion, get him 30ft off the bottom and an AJ would smash him nearly pulling the guy overboard.
