i have trouble figuring out keltec sometimes. they stay on the second level of cool looking tech. but the P50 is a head scratcher for only ~500 less than a PS90. the mods you'd add to it would bring the price of it up to about the price of a ps90.

LINK i saw where it goes for about $999
If you are going to have this 5.7 round, why not give it as much barrel length as possible. Its really just a heavy front pistol when you could opt for a ps90 that is a shoulder fired bullpup.

CSB, i know, but it's just weird.

I own a Hi Point 9mm carbine, so I'm not a gun snob by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm not paying $1k for a KelTec.

I’m On board with the 9mm carbines especially at:

Hippint9mm at ~400
Sub2000. At 600.

If they are in fact, that price for a carbine then I am on board. But I think their availability will jack that prove up, two fold right now.

But the ps90 is a different animal and I don’t want to get in. 5.7 vs 9mm war.

But I am just saying my issue is with keltec making a 5.7 pistol for 1000 while the ps90 tack driver is 1600.

I’d rather have the +600 upgrade in an FN bullpup.

We're in agreement. In addition to the pistol vs bullpup disadvantage, that price range just isn't Kel Tec territory. It would be like charging Ferrari prices for a Corvette; most people would just go ahead and get the Ferrari.

Yes strannix I’m fricked up. I cannot articulate well and now I’m on that weird pineapple beer because I rant out loud f the other stuff.

I’d rather a fan ps90 at 1600 and do t see the point of a 1000 dollar kt pistol.

But check out that classic game time LSU hat.

Not an answer to your question but I love my Kel-Tec 2000 that is chambered in .40 Cal. Folds up and can be stored easy. Shoots really well and is light to carry. I’ve probably put close to 1000 rounds through it and it’s still great and never had an issue.

PS90, no question.

Make sure you get a first gen trigger pack. It will prob be a used gun and hopefully the seller doesn’t understand. Thank me later.

Yes, but what does that extra 100 feet per second “mean”?

Look at the 16 inch vs 5 inch barrels in 9mm.

Would you add 11inches of barrel JUST to achieve 120 additional FPS? Is it worth it? Does it make the bullet any more effective for a hollow point?

Please ignore sight radius, I am not concerned about that right now. Just the +100fps in real world situations. .
