I bought a little 16’ side console with a 25hp recently. I need to mount some night navigation lights to this thing. I will be deer hunting from it and need to run rivers and creeks in the dark. Lots of potential to hit floaters and other stuff.

Since the river is a barge route with a lot of traffic, I need the ability to steer the light away from on coming traffic. Being indestructible would be a plus as I will be taking this in rough places.

TIA.

I hunt in similar situations. Last year I bought a ryobi q beam, it’s light and bright, I have multiple batteries that will last a couple hours, and I don’t have cords in the way.

I run a small 12" lightbar on the front of my 1542. Made a switchbox from a 6x6 waterproof electrical box that is mounted to side of boat just in front of the driver seat. Allows me to turn the light on/off with my non-steering hand relatively quickly. Really only use it in tight sloughs, or places with alot of brush to navigate around.

We have several WMAs that are accessible by water. Three of those are only accessible by water (Mobile Delta, Demopolis, and Seven Mile Island). I've been doing cast and blast trips for the last 20 years out of bass boats. It's gonna be nice to do it out of a purpose built boat. I want to do it right and figured yall would have better ideas given the hunting conditions in LA.

You need a headlight in case the deer is on the right or left. You want the light going straight down your barrel when aiming otherwise you will be shooting in the dark.

This is what I see most commonly. However, I will be coming over the front of the boat with deer and gear. This lighting position would get destroyed.

Found it! Well a picture of it at least.... Need to find where to buy it.
