Call pest control, you will waste 100's of dollars and still need to call them in the end. Trust me, I've been there.

Same here. Fleas were awful in central Alabama a couple summers ago. I have a full basement garage and the dog's kennel was in there. It was too late before I knew they had fleas and they were multiplying in the basement. Had to park outside for about a month because if we walked through there we'd have dozens jumping on our legs and we didn't want to carry them into the house.

I tried everything. I ran the shop vac all over the basement. Tried bug bombs, sprays, even diatomaceous earth all over 3 different times and shop vac it up after a week each time. We already had a yard spray mosquito service and we asked them to tackle it. I think he sprayed something only meant for outdoors in there since my wife assured him no living creature was going to be walking through there for a few days. It finally killed them all after the second treatment. And I wasted a month of not being able to use my garage, plenty of money trying to tackle it myself, and a frustrated wife.

Frontline stopped working. I'm thinking fleas have gotten immune to that.

I'm thinking the same thing. The dog and cat both are on Frontline that we got from Costco. They both have been on it nonstop for three months and I found a couple of fleas on them yesterday. I tried the yard spray from Spectricide. I guess I'll hit it with Talstar next. I guess we will try Advantage next.

Not sure if this is everywhere but in the little Walmart neighborhood Market near my house they had all of their Frontline Plus on clearance for 50% off+. ~$21 a package. I just sort of noticed it as I was walking by their clearance cart. Neighborhood market in Auburn. Would be worth checking out if you had a WMNM near your house too. I had a lot of luck with Frontline Plus with my dogs.
