Dog just came in from outside and found a bunch of fleas on him. He's up on his med's and just gave him a bath. Fixing to tackle the inside of the house vacuuming and washing all our linens and shite. Got some spray and considering fogging the place.

Best way to eradicate this frickers from my yard? Spray, bomb, flamethrower?

Spray that attaches to your hose. Double down and don't let him outside for a while.

Get some growth regulator and spray your yard. Find out what poison is compatible with the IGR and spray to kill the adults. Growth regulator should take care of eggs. Spray the IGR in your house as well. Fleas suck.

Any of this safe for the doggo? I mean within reason. I understand he may not be able to go out back for a bit, but trying to avoid a backyard quarantine for several days.

Get a flea prevention for the dog that kills fleas that bite him. This uses thenhost as bait and breaks the cycle.

Keep in mind, whatever you do use, I'm pretty sure you will have to retreat yard again in several days to get hatchlings.

He's on oral flea preventive through the vet. Just noticed a few jumpers. They all dead after the bath.

I bought Advantix II or something with a similar name. It's made by Bayer. Cost about $60 for 4 months if I remember right. For the other dog I bought this flea collar that cost about $80. They say it's the only flea collar on the market that actually works. I'm going to see which one works best. So far they have not had fleas when I was having hell with them before. It sucked spending that much money on that crap but with two back to back mild winters I think the fleas are going to be bad this year.

Frontline stopped working. I'm thinking fleas have gotten immune to that.

Call pest control, you will waste 100's of dollars and still need to call them in the end. Trust me, I've been there.

He's not on what I'm talking about or you wouldn't have any fleas.

Good luck. I hope you follow-up to let us know how it goes. Vacumming, like you mentioned, iis great too. Little bastard hatch when they feel vibrations thinking it's a host. Mother nature's a bitch.

This.

We had a bad flea problem after one of the hurricanes because our power was out for so long. They crushed them in no time.
