Gave the deer a break over Thanksgiving. Haven't hunted since Wednesday, checked cams yesterday and the one I'm after was in Saturday at 430pm.
Thinking this front will get them up and moving. Good luck y'all and frick BAMA.

My morning.
Outstanding start of the day here. Was drinking my coffee outside in the nippy 34F taking in the morning sun rise. Ducks and Geese flying and Squirrels rutting. All this, and looking at the color change of the leaves on the trees. Man, God is good.

The deer have had no rhyme or reason with movement the past few weeks. Hoping for some luck on a perfect day.

Had a busted up 8 run in grunting 30 min after daylight. He wasn't broke off last week when I saw him, couple yearling lingered around for a bit but other than that its been slow. Wind is blowing like a bus full of figs.

Good luck I've hunted 8 out of the last 12 days.. got the hog trap baited at the farm ..
I'm fishing the next 3 mornings before going back to work Friday night.. vacation has been good.

I got down, planned on sitting all day but wind is gusting 30mph+ and swirling. I'm off rest of year so no need in educating them on days like today.

Would be glad to see deer today but landowner said shoot as many does as possible.
