Quick thread hijack but figured you would get a kick out of this - Hunt Jr (he is 21 now) decided he wants to start bow hunting. Before the season we went to camp and he shot my rig a while, then we went to one of my bow stands. He grew up hunting box stands and ladder stands so he has not been in a loc-on. Strapped safety harness on and hooked him to lifeline and up he went. He got up and in the stand and looked around and said "damn this stand is small - how do you ever get a shot off without deer seeing you" I said "now you are hunting - its a whole different game my friend"

He will bow hunt next year - said he wants to make sure he can hit where he wants consistently and get his group tighter. Look forward to that time and sharing some success stories with you guys!
