Currently 27degrees, no wind. Temp was 24.
7 mag Bergara B14 Woodsman
Green plot in between oak flat and ag field

ETA: The bucks are chasing. I’m watching 17 does out in the plot and I’ve had 3 really good looking bucks that are only 2.5 & 3.5 year olds chasing the does around the plot. 1 of them is a 10 that I guarantee scores mid 130s but he’s still a young deer. We have a couple 150s and 2 that are 165 plus we have on camera or have seen during bow season. Hoping to catch one of the bigger ones slipping. Plan on hunting to 11 this am.

Things will be hot and heavy in this area the next 12-14 days.

Good luck everyone. Please be safe.

178Cajun- I’ll be praying for you and hope you receive good news.

I just wanted to share that I can imagine what you’re going through. Everyone’s situation is different but I’m a cancer survivor and have been through that shite show twice.

The first time was an 8 year battle where I was in and out of remission and since my surgery 8 years ago, I’ve been cancer free ever since by the grace of God.

Unfortunately not long after I had been cancer free, my wife of 6 years was diagnosed with cancer and passed not long after. We were both 29 years old at the time she passed. It’ll be 7 years since here soon.

I know people hate hearing everything happens for a reason but I really believe I am a better man today for what I went through. God has really blessed me. I was angry at him for a while about losing her and still do sometimes but I firmly believe if I hadn’t reaffirmed my faith in him I would’ve ended up down a dark path. I was headed that way after her death.

I don’t know what you believe in but I had to just give it to God and pray.

Please keep us posted on your results.

Looks like it is in my blood. Going to be having a bone marrow biopsy done next week. Thanks very much for all the prayers, they are much appreciated.

Keep us updated. Remember, cancer is a disease not necessarily a death sentence. Just like a bacterial infection, some are easily treated. Dont freak out until you have to.
