I am in the market for a boat and saw this listing on CL. This seems like a good deal but I dont know anything about the Bayliner boat.

That's a very good deal imo. Bayliner is on the cheaper end of the boat scale but like anything it will be a good boat if taken care of.

That boat by itself brand new is around 20k I think. It looks brand new in the pictures, and the jet skis look in good shape. I think it's a pretty good deal.

You could probably resell the jet skis together for 8k easy

Thanks for the link. I'm meeting him at 7 in the morning to look at them.

Seriously. Sounds like a good deal. I wouldn't wait too long.

Bayliners are kinda POS typically but I have no clue about their wake board boats, just check blue books

I'd pay slightly more for this one:

good deal, the waverunners are the better part of the deal, as long as they are in good condition

Those Waverunners are, at the oldest, 2006 year models...think Yamaha had that design from 2006-2010ish. They aren't the HO models so that means they have the 110 or 140 hp motor. Pretty solid motor really, I'd just look at them close...make sure they run with a hose hooked up and inspect the engine bay closely for corrosion. If you buy them, bring them to Aquamarine on Oak St. and have them do a tuneup on them.

Don't know much about the boat other than that Bayliner is a value brand. Maybe check reviews on the hull truth.

ETA: Fwiw, we sold a 2004 FX Cruiser HO and a 2006 FX Cruiser HO a year or two ago for 8k...maybe 10k, can't really remember.

like you said as well, those 110 and 140 yamaha engines are solid as hell. change the oil once a year or every 100 hours, change the spark plugs, grease the drive and you are good to go. will last for a few thousand hours. 90% of the issues are solved with a spark plug change

Yep, our 2006 would normally foul a plug if layed up for the Winter. Our 2004 would fire right up and be ready to go...great motors. There is a reason the rental companies use the VX110 almost exclusively.

If you're in the market for a boat, buy a boat. Package deals like that raise a red flag in my book.
