I disagree, I hope they don't share that with anyone. They've done a pretty good job turning things around. The last decade has been night & day difference compared to what it was in the prior 10-15 years.
I mostly hunt private land around Otter, but have had mostly really good hunts when drawing in there. My son in law is on the KC side of the state & echos what you said. Hope it continues & looking forward to hunting that side of the state this season.

Cut the whole out with a mower as soon as the seeds germinate. Basically dont allow it to make a crop and you are fine.

Define "cutting". With a bush hog? Illegal.

With a combine? Absolutely legal for waterfowl hunting.

They are on a draw system for public duck hunting. Frick that.

I don't like the draw either. But I do like how a state wildlife agency knows what their doing and manages their public resources in a manner that produces quality opportunities for hunting and fishing.

For those that get drawn. The other suckers who are standing in line at 4 am and don't get drawn have to go back to the house.

Our system isn't perfect but it's much better than that

Have you ever hunted any of the big Conservation Areas in MO?

I'm not supporting the draw system, I'm merely saying that it is nice to have a state wildlife agency that conducts activities that result in their properties being more appealing to wild game than those properties that just sit there untouched, and seem to have some small amount of game in spite of what their controlling agency does.

Plantimg corn, not harvesting it, and then flooding it to the ears isn't what I call management. A bit off topic but how that is allowed as normal agriculture practices is beyond me

Habitat flats does this and holds millions of birds and makes a ton of money off it. I would do the same if I had that land because it is legal also for the record

It hasn't headed out yet though (I'm assuming) so that is legal

It's not. However, it IS specifically allowed by Federal law.
