re: Is there a perfect duck boat? Width, motor, long tail, short tail?

I was given a price of $17,200 for a 36 PD center console with the automated reverse. I think that was for the 17 foot boat. 18' was $400 more. Gator Tail was over $20k when it was all said and done. I don't hunt that much so I ended up just getting a flats boat for the same price (fully rigged out with power pole, hydraulic jack plate, gps, etc.) If you're looking for a new boat, you aren't going to pay less than that. I looked hard and I know someone who works for gator tail. They're just flat out expensive.
