I've been fishing Lake Verret recently and putting in at Bayside or Gaudet's. The Shell Beach landing is a lot closer to where I fish in the lake. I rode by there in the boat yesterday and it appeared to be open. Does anybody have any info on the Shell Beach landing? Thanks.

Saw a few trucks parked out there last summer, so I imagine you could still use it. Last time I used it, which has been quite a few years, it was absolute junk. I wouldn’t bring nothing nice over there just in case.

Very difficult to load your boat there when the lake is rough. Where do you fish ? Attackapas is across the lake , but further south. Easy run across.

From Gaudets learn grand bayou ,you can skirt most of the open lake to get to crack head to fish when
weather is bad ...
shell beach landing not worth the effort

I fish close to Shell Beach landing. Attackapas landing is still closed. Gaudet's is always so crowded. Bayside has a long idle zone. Shell Beach would be much more convenient if its decent.
