I believe its the strip in tangi parish in between the two that are already to become wma. I heard there was land dispute between the two owners of the lease that will be turned into wma.

The new land took over my buddies duck lease. As close to flooded timber as you are going to get around here. It's going to be crawling with people. Pretty pissed about that.

Speaking of that lease, do you know anything about it, if they ever take new members, etc? And have you deer hunted around there yet? I haven't checked the camera lately.

I think is the remaining chunk that the nature conservancy/carnegie mellon owned or was getting donated to them - pretty healthy chunk.. actually a pretty popular area - most of it is set up in mitigation banks.. if it is what I think it is...

I consulted one of the managers about habitat improvements when I was in a previous job.... talked last year at length with him about lease/club he was trying to form but.. owners changed plans.. shelved it... and were talking about giving to state... and... getting them out of some turmoil.
