I'm bumping this thread to see if anyone has any good reports from Hopedale. Buddy's wife is giving birth in a few weeks, in this is his last chance to go out for a while. Mainly going to winterize his boat, but we will try to catch a few fish while we're down

We went today and it was a complete bust. Clear clear water and not one bite. Fished hard. Little man enjoyed being out there. We’ll go back but next time in before the front not after.

What areas did you fish Hunt?

Went pass the outlet and fished the marsh on edge of lake then came back and went up canal in front of the landing back in there but by then the tide was low low.

Have had many little cells and girls on my boat that did fine with reds up to 25#. My favorite fisher is 60# soaking wet and she kills plenty of reds.
