10k for that? Mopar is absolutely nuts. Like someone posted previous. A lot of off roads use old military trailers. Cheap and could customizes to your specs.

yep, unless you want to buy it.
exactly how is a military trailer cheaper than what i have on hand? don't get me wrong i think they're cool as shite and obviously the look jeep was going for.
the scrambler, i picked up for change. i spent a little on upgrades but i just don't have the time to finish it. it's been listed along with all parts for sale for a while and the only thing i've sold is a m.o.r.e. bulletproof steering bracket.
if you have a cj and need parts contact me. i may have what you need. and before you say pirate - it's been listed there for months.

You're going to cut down a SCRAMBLER body to build a fricking utility trailer?
Only 27k Scramblers were made and you want to cut one up for a trailer??
Is it a complete P.O.S. or something?

Actually it's in pretty good shape. I bought it fours ago and sold my cj7. As I said, I've been trying to sell it but it ain't happening and honestly, as much as I love jeeps (I've owned 8) I'm just not into the building anymore. If you know someone who needs parts for their CJ, I've got lots.
The drivetrain is a crate 350 (new, never been run) with a rebuilt and upgraded 700r4 mated and clocked with a Dana 300 (passenger drop) slip yoke eliminator heavy duty output and input shafts.
Outboarded front frame for a scout width Dana 44 flat top knuckles drilled and tapped and ready for high steer arms. Rear axle is a cab and chassis GM 14 bolt both with 4:10 gears. All on new 2.5" YJ springs with a spring over. Frame has been sand blasted and fishplated at repair points with new spring perches. Customs made oil pan and transmission skid plate made from 1/4" plate and 1.25" DOM tubing. Bestop black vinyl seats with risers and sliders. The list goes on but I'm never going to finish it. So I can part it out and build the trailer and other than a bunch of guys on various message boards telling me I shouldn't do it, I'm fine with the decision.
